I am Cathryn (Cat) and this is my daughter Madelyn (Mad).
I am a single mom from the United States, originally from Iowa but currently residing in Las Vegas. I worked in the hospitality industry on the Strip in Las Vegas, so I love entertaining and hosting people in my home. Madelyn followed my passion and is also in the hospitality industry. She currently lives in San Francisco managing events at the Marriott Marquis.
We visited Puerto Vallarta together via cruise ship in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the city. It is so rich with culture and authentic hospitality; it's far, far more than a tourist destination. In 2022, we decided to buy a vacation home to share with friends and family , and as demand for the space increased, we have now decided to share it with you.
We still handle every booking ourselves, and we still get a quiet thrill when someone messages to say they didn't want to leave.
We hope to eventually add more homes to our little business, but the mission will be the same: to give our guests somewhere that feels like theirs for a few days, plus the kind of local tips you only get from someone who actually lives here.
